How does Inbody scanning work?
In an Inbody scanning a so-called bio-impedance scale with eight measurement points is used. During the measurement, a weak current is sent through the body. Different tissues in the body have varying resistance (conduct electricity differently), allowing the body composition to be determined. The current sent is very weak, and you don’t feel anything as it passes through the body.
The test takes only 2-3 minutes and is conducted quickly and efficiently by clinic staff. The measurement process is simple, as you stand barefoot on a platform while holding two handles. For the best results, the measurement should be done before breakfast. If measured at other times of the day, you should not have eaten for at least two hours. The most important thing is to maintain the same conditions for each measurement to achieve comparable results. Thanks to the absence of empirical data that could affect test results, this method is used in research and elite sports and has a 98% comparability to DXA scans.
What can you measure?
When you step on a scale and see that you’ve lost a kilo, what have you actually lost? Is it a kilo of fat? Fluid? Muscle? By analyzing your weight and body composition, you can gain a better understanding of changes in your body in a way that you can properly track.
An Inbody analysis helps you develop a strategy to achieve your specific goals. It simplifies training tracking, making the results clearer. You gain a foundation for creating a lifestyle based on facts about your own body. Being able to track your progress by assessing your current status and later measuring changes in your body composition is highly motivating.

Price
We have chosen not to have a fixed price list, as each patient is unique with individual needs. In most cases, it’s only during the consultation that we can determine, together with you, which procedure(s) will be best to achieve a beautiful final result. With us, in addition to the surgery cost, anesthesia, medications, follow-up visits, compression garments, and bras are included, as well as, in most cases, at least one overnight stay after the surgery.
In general, all prices are shown inclusive of VAT, as all procedures and treatments except those performed for medical reasons have been subject to VAT since the beginning of 2014. In cases where the price is shown exclusive of VAT, this is because these procedures are always performed on medical grounds. (Price below includes VAT)
