Frequently Asked Questions

What does a surgery cost at Victoriakliniken?

At Victoriakliniken, all prices in our price list are indicative prices. This means that you will receive your exact price during your consultation with your surgeon, as all patients have different conditions.

What are the risks associated with surgery?
All surgical procedures come with risks. The most common are bleeding, infection, sensory changes, or visible scars. However, we have minimized these risks based on our established routines before, during, and after your surgery, drawing from the extensive experience of our surgeons. According to our doctors, the greatest risk is aesthetic: that patients may have unrealistic expectations. Therefore, the conversation between you as a patient and our surgeons is crucial. The art lies in finding a balance between your expectations and your biological conditions. If communication is clear and the bar is set at the right level, you will most likely be satisfied. For us at Victoriakliniken, patient safety and comfort are our top priorities; therefore, we have a follow-up and guarantee program. Moreover, the staff at the clinic are very experienced. During anesthesia, you are monitored by highly experienced thoracic anesthesiologists and anesthesia nurses who check your vitals using the latest anesthesia and monitoring equipment to ensure your well-being. After the surgery, you will usually stay overnight, and our nurses will continuously check that you are doing well.
What is included in Victoriakliniken's security guarantee?

At Victoriakliniken, we take full responsibility for your surgery, both in the long and short term. For a breast surgery with us, the following is always included:

• 10 years of free follow-up for your implants with ultrasound.

• 5-year warranty against complications at no additional cost.

• At least one overnight stay.

• Access to emergency care 24/7.

• Free follow-up visits.

• Medications.

• Direct contact with your surgeon after your return home.

• Compression bra.

Are there any financing options for surgeries with you?
We collaborate with Medical Finance.
What happens on the day of the surgery?

If you are going to have surgery under anesthesia, you are welcomed to the clinic at Rösundavägen 4 in Saltsjöbaden at 07:00 in the morning, where a nurse will meet you. Once you arrive, you will be shown to your room where you can change before meeting your surgeon. Your surgeon will take pictures and review your planned surgery with you. After that, you can lie down and rest in a comfortable bed until it’s your turn for the operation. After the surgery, you will stay in our recovery department until you feel well enough to move to our care department. In the care department, you will have access to staff who will help ensure you are as pain-free as possible while you rest and recover after your surgery.

Should you prepare in any way before a surgery with you?
Yes, after you have scheduled a surgery appointment, one of our clinic coordinators will go through everything you need to know regarding preparations for your surgery. This conversation takes about 15-20 minutes, and you will also receive all the information in writing. It is important that you, as a patient, follow the recommendations provided during this conversation to achieve the best possible outcome.
Is there a 3D simulation available at Victoriakliniken?

Yes, we offer all patients who are undergoing breast augmentation with implants a 3D simulation. However, it is important to keep in mind that it is only a simulation and that the final result may differ. The 3D simulation is free of charge.
